Students interested in applying to Waterloo's School of Pharmacy should review these important dates and ensure that they plan far enough in advance to meet the requirements.

Important note: High school students who are interested in applying for the Conditional Admission to Pharmacy (CAP) program should refer to the CAP section of this website.

Application Timelines - January 2013

Applications are NOW CLOSED. Applications for January 2014 will open mid-August 2012.

Your application will be acknowleged by email and you will be sent specific information on completing your online Pharmacy Admission Profile and the Reference Letter Form.
December 24, 2011 – January 2, 2012 Christmas Break
Although we welcome your application during the Christmas Break, acknowledgement emails will resume the first week of 2012.
January 8, 2012 Deadline to submit the winter 2013 application and pay the application fee (midnight EST).
February 10, 2012 Deadline for submitting the following items (details will be provided in the acknowledgement email you will receive after you apply to the program):
  1. Interim University transcript(s)
  2. Pharmacy Admission Profile.
  3. Confirmation of English Language Requirements (if applicable)
  4. Reference Letter Form
April 5, 2012 Invitations for Pharmacy Admission Interviews will be sent by email.
April 12, 2012 Deadline to confirm attendance for your interview. If you fail to respond by this date, your interview time may be assigned to another applicant.
April 27-29, 2012 Pharmacy Admission Interviews and Reading Comprehension/Writing Test (for selected candidates)
June 8, 2012 Deadline to submit University transcripts with final Winter 2012 grades.
June 13, 2012 Admission decisions will be communicated to all applicants
June 27, 2012 Deadline to accept Offer of Admission to Pharmacy
January 2013 Lectures begin
